The work also includes abatement work due to the REMOVAL OF RESILIENT ASBESTOS FLOORING AND LEAD BASED PAINT. This proposed construction contract action specifies the SAFLOK CLASSIC SL2500 electronic door locks for compatibility with the Government's SAFLOK SL2500 computer system that will control all door locks at the BEQ. Interested parties may submit technical brochures for other than SAFLOK CLASSIC SL2500 electronic door locks if it is compatible with the SAFLOK SL2500 computer system. All technical brochures received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be reviewed by the Government. A determination by the Government not to specify other sources based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether other sources exist. A Small and Disadvantaged Subcontracting Plan is required for large businesses prior to award of the contract. Estimated cost is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. THE SIC CODE FOR THIS PROCUREMENT IS 1522 AND THE ANNUAL SIZE STANDARD IS $17.0 MIL.
