Z -- EMERGENCY AND EXIT LIGHTING SOL IFB-556-20-96 DUE 090496 POC Contracting Officer, Pamela Smith, (847)578-7322 Contractor shall provide the necessary equipment, labor and materials to correct emergency and exit lighting deficiencies. Work shall include but is not limited to exit lighting, replacement of two emergency generators, new ATS's, additional emergency power distribution, etc. in various buildings, in accordance with the project specifications and drawings. Estimated cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The completion time frame is 360 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. A bid guarentee is required in an amount not less than 20% of the bid price. This is an unrestricted procurement available to all responsible sources. Bid documents will be available on/about 8/1/96 by written request to the contracting officer or by facsimile to (847)578-3825. Telephone requests will not be accepted. A site visit is scheduled for 8/22/96 at 9:30 a.m. local time, and all bidders are urged and expected to inspect this site where work will be performed.
