Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements is cited in each individual solicitation. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. Beginning May 1996, Ogden Air Logistics Center/PK (00-ALC/PK), Hill Air Force Base, Utah began a ''phase in'' process, distributing drawings associated with solicitation packages on CD ROM. Aircraft, Commodities and Missile Procurements will be affected. The ''phase in'' process will be by NSN. During this period data may be available on CD-ROM, Floppy Disk, or aperature cards. CD-ROM is the medium of preference. After SEP 1996 data available by CD-ROM will gradually increase. The minimum set-up requirements to view the drawings supplied by OO-ALC areas follows: 386 INTEL 33MHZ processor or higher; 8 MEGABYTES RAM; Any size hard drive; CD ROM reader (1X, 2X OR 4X); 14'' color monitor (17'' is recommended) DOS 5.0 or higher; windows 3.1 or higher, UNZIP software.
