The Indian Head Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, has a requirement for the Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division, Indian Head, Md for a sole source procurement to Texas Instruments Inc for three (3) thermal imagers. This procurement is part of the counterproliferation equipment packages being delivered to the Special Improvised Explosive (SIED) units. The thermal imager is intended to be used in the field by EOD technicians to find and identify sensor threat or ordnance in a low light/no light environment. Texas Instruments is the only responsible source since they are the only company that provides an uncooled unit meeting the size, weight, cooling requirements, image resolutions, power dissipation, and operating range. In addition, to ensure compatibility between existing equipment packages, it is crucial that the same units are procured. Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price Supply. Delivery: 120 DAC.
