The NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ520-77630/994) on a sole source basis to Wind River Systems. The acquisition will be for VXWorks Target License for MIZAR 8130 processors. This acquisition is in support of the Data Systems Technology Division, Microelectronic Systems Branch. This is a proprietary product manufactured solely by Wind River Systems, and is needed for compatability with present operating systems. NASA GSFC's Microeletronic Systems Branch may be contacted (Barbie Brown @ 301-286-4438) for specifications of VXWorks Targets. All responsible sources may respond by submitting a written narrative statement of their capability, including detailed technical information and other technical literature, demonstrating their ability to meet the above requirement, within 15 days of the publiction of this notice to the above address.
