Department of the Treasury, Financial Management Services has a requirement for a TMP 3900 Turbo 144 Column Magnetic Ink Character Recognition MICR Printer. The printer must be fully AFP compatible, capable of printing a MICR line at every 3.25 inches using the E13B font. The printer must have 144 maximum print position, 18 inches maximum print width, 8 characters per inch for horizontal spacing and 23 maximum form width. FMS intends to issue a sole source contract to Troy, a Division of Pierce Companies, Inc. Contractors with the capability to furnish the printer shall submit technical capability statements. Written requests for copies of the solicitation shall be submitted within fifteen days from the date of this notice. The solicitation will be issued mid August.
