The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire, on a total small business set-aside basis, on-call maintenance of Government-owned Federal Information Processing (FIP) equipment (including labor, parts, and travel). This acquisition is for the maintenance of NALCOMIS equipment (Honeywell DPS-6 and peripherals) at Naval Air Reserve activities located at the following Naval Air Stations/Facilities: Naval Air Station, JRB, Willow Grove, PA, Naval Air Reserve, Santa Clara, CA, Naval Air Facility, Washington, DC, Naval Air Station, Atlanta, GA, Naval Air Station, New Orleans, LA, and Naval Air Station, JRB, Fort Worth, TX. The equipment list consists of nine Honeywell CPUs and approximately 800 pieces of ancillary/peripheral equipment. Maintenance is required for the base period of 1 October 1996 through 30 September 1997, with two (2) one-year options, except for the Fort Worth site where maintenance service will commence 1 June 1997. The award of a firm fixed price-type contract is contemplated. The applicable Standard Classification Number is 7378. The proposed solicitation is expected to be issued approximately 1 August 1996 under solicitation N00140-96-R-2801. It is anticipated that the closing date will be fifteen (15) days thereafter.
