A pre-solicitation notice for the upgrade of three elevators and a dumbwaiter at the (USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Western Regional Research Center in Albany, California, appeared in the Commerce Business Daily (CBD) on July 1, 1996. This is the second and final notice that will appear in CBD. The work consists of all labor, material and equipment necessary for the replacement of a hydraulic freight elevator with a new passenger/service hydraulic elevator, the modernization of one hydraulic freight elevator and one passenger/service geared electric action elevator and the replacement of one dumbwaiter with a new vertical reciprocating conveyor. Invitation for Bid No. 21-91H2-96 will be available on or about July 23, 1996. The estimated cost range for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000.
