Phillips Laboratory/PKOV, Operational Contracting Division Services Branch, Kirtland AFB NM, intends to issue Invitation for Bid (IFB) F29650-96-B0029 on or about 26 Jul 96 with bid opening date of on or about 26 Aug 96 to furnish all required personnel, labor, equipment, materials, supervision, and transportation to perform all operations in connection with the maintenance of water softeners defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) at Kirtland Air Force Base NM. The work consists of management administration and performance of routine preventive maintenance and repair services. Maintenance and repair work will also include emergency services during nonduty hours on an ''on-call'' basis. This will be a firm fixed price contract. The resultant contract is expected to be the basic year with four one-year options. The proposed contract is 100 percent set aside for Small Business (SB) concern; however, the Government reserves the right to consider this acquisition for 8(a) program. The SIC for this project is 7389 with size standard of a total of $5.0 million gross receipts per year.
