The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Memphis, TN, has a requirement for Solid Waste Disposal Services. The base year of the contract shall run for twelve months from date of award, with four (4) one year option periods. The Contractor shall provide and maintain one (1) 30 cubic yard compactor and two (2) 20 cubic yard open top containers. For the base year of the contract and each option period, it is estimated the Contractor will be required to empty the thirty cubic yard compactor 104 times (twice a week), and be required to empty each 20 cubic yard open top container an estimated 52 times (once a week, two containers, for a total estimate of 104 ''Pulls''). It is anticipated solicitation packages will be mailed approximately August 19, 1996, with an approximate due date of September 10, 1996. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered for award. It is anticipated this requirement will result in a Firm-Fixed Price, Requirements type contract.
