Provide the U.S. Department of Energy with the installation of a
complete redundant chilled water generator/condenser system and four
chilled water computer room type air conditioning units for the
mechnical equipment room and the IX Frame equipment room located at the
Forrestal Building. The project will include demolition of existing
heating and ventilation units and removal/relocation of existing
electrical and mechanical components and installation of new
components. The solicitation will be available for downloading from the
DOE Business Communications Center on the FedWorld Bulletin Board at
(703) 321-3339 accessible via the Business, Trade and Labor Mall.
Although this acquisition is unrestricted, award will be made under the
Small Business Demonstration Program. Drawings and specifications will
be available upon request in writing and a check in the amount of
$55.00. Checks should be made payable to the U.S. Department of Energy.
The estimate of the work is between $250,000 to $500,000. The
solicitation will be issued on or about August 5, 1996. The
solicitation will also be available through the Internet on the ''Doing
Business with DOE'' home page via the Business Communications Center,
