The Invitation For Bid is to construct a 3.5 mile pathway consisting of clearing and grubbing; excavation with some borrow material required; the construction of rock-filled gabion and dry masonry rock retaining walls; installation of culverts; 3 multi-plate metal box culverts and the installation of a trail bridge, prefabricated with steel stringer and treated wood deck; application of soil treating compound to consolidate and harden finished grade; seeding slopes and other disturbed areas. Construction of a temporary parking area approximately one half (1/2) acre. Includes moving highway right away fence and minor clearing and grading. The project is located in a highly sensitive ecological area, where ground disturbing activities will be required to be confined to within the construction limits and areas designated and approved for construction related activities.
