Y -- BARKER PASS SLIDE SOL IFB-R5-03-96-36 DUE 091896 POC Kathy Griffin, Contracting Officer, 916-622-5061. Repairing approx 150 FT of road that washed out last winter. Major items of work include clearing, excavation (developing embankment on site by lowering grade), construction of rock gravity wall, rock riprap placed on fill slope, and resurfacing approx 800 FT of road with aggregate base and a double chip seal. Other items include installing a steel trash rack, 24: cmp and an armored overside drain. Project is located south on Hwy 89 approx 6 miles from Tahoe City to the intersection with Barker Pass Rd. Turn right and travel approx 2 miles (staying on paved road) to locked gate. Project site is approx 1-1/2 MI of uphill walk. There will be a pre-bid tour on 08/29/96 at 10AM at the project site. (not mandatory). There is a $25.00 NON-REFUNDABLE fee for the Specs and Plans. Approx solicitation issue date is 08/19/96, estimated start date 09/30/96. Estimated price range $100,000-$250,000.
