The work includes repair of three existing buildings, each building to accommodate 34 living units by replacing existing walls, installing one bathroom per unit, replacing roof, replacing surface materials, install lowered ceiling, replace window coverings, replace laundry spaces, install one common kitchen unit, repair walls/doors etc., install two walk in closets per room, install exterior breezeway with bicycle rack, replace domestic water/plumbing systems, install fire protection system, replace heating and ventilation system, repair electrical distribution system; install television, phone, and LAN wiring; paint interior and exterior, provide landscaping, and incidental related work. There is a base bid and two options for this project. The base bid (CLIN 0001) is all of the above work associated with BEQ #4. Option #1 (CLIN 0002) is all of the above work associated with BEQ #5. Option #2 (CLIN 0003) is all of the above work associated with BEQ #6. During performance of this work, asbestos, hazardous waste, or pollution abatement may be encountered. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 05 August 1996 at no charge until supply is exhausted. Contract completion time is 860 calendar days.
