Work includes the following for each Package: Pkg O-1: Construct steel frame rappelling tower; Pkg O-2: Various repairs to Reserve Center building which includes paint interior and exterior walls, repair fire alarm system, replace emergency light fixtures, replace light switches and GFI receptacles, repaint stripes in parking lot, regrade existing swale, regrade pavement, replace toilet partitions and shower doors, replace rubber base throughout building, replace door closures, and replace accoustical tile ceiling; Pkg O-3: Construct concrete pad and pre-engineered building, relocate existing hazardous waste storage building, provide water and power for pre-engineered building and hazardous waste storage building. The estimated cost of the proposed project is between $500,000 and $1 Million. Solicitation to be issued 0/A August 14, 1996. Single copies of specifications alone may be purchased by interested applicants for $27.00. Full-size drawings alone may be purchased for $33.00 a set. This is an unrestricted procurement, but small and disadvantaged firms are encouraged to participate as prime contractors or as members of joint ventures with other small businesses and all interested contractors are reminded that the successful contractor will be expected to place subcontracts to the maximum practicable extent with small and disadvantaged firms in accordance with the provisions of Public Law 95-507.(0194)
