Z -- US POSTAL SERVICE IS ISSUING REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR UPGRADE AIR COMPRESSOR, P&DC, 680 RT 130, TRENTON, NJ 08608-9998 SOL RFP #415046-96-A-0040 DUE 081396. POC Project Manager, Charles J. The work consists of providing all labor, material, equipment and services to complete the following: disconnection and removal of existing Air Compressor #3, Air Dryers #3, Air Dryer #4 and associated piping, conduits and wiring; removal of existing compressor #3 concrete pad; installation of one (1) new 40 HP air compressor and associated equipment, piping, conduit and wiring; installation of one (1) new dryer; modifications to existing compressed air piping system; installation of thirty-four (34) compressed air spring rewind reels; installation of one (1) new thermal magnetic feeder breaker at MCC No. 1: installation of new disconnect switches for new air compressor and dryer; installation of new fused distribution box; and installation and wiring of new master controller to interface with all of the compressors. OFFERORS MUST BE EXPERIENCED IN MECHANICAL WORK AND PRIMARILY ENGAGED IN THIS LINE FOR A MINIMUM OF FIVE (5) YEARS AND WHO, IN ADDITION, SHALL HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED AT LEAST THREE (3) PROJECTS OF SIMILAR SIZE AND SCOPE.
