Includes removal of the existing roofing, and installation of new roofing and incidental related work, for the following bldgs; 6002, 200, 295, and 79. The removal of asbestos containing materials, and of lead-containing paint, is included in the work. Roofing materials to be installed include asphalt shingles, prefinished metal roofing panels, and modified bitumen roofing. The work also includes the replacement of a limited area of wood deck, the replacement of metal gutters and downspouts, and the temporary removal and reinstallation of roof-mounted mechanical and electrical equipment. Estimated cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. Pursuant to P.L. 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, this solicitation is classified as unrestricted. Requests for copies of this proposed procurement should be submitted IN WRITING, state the solicitation number, and provide complete name, address, phone number and business size of the requestor. Additionally, requestors should indicate whether they intend to bid as a prime contractor, subcontractor or supplier.
