The work consists of repairs and routine maintenance services to various elevators in several buildings throughout the Naval Air Station. The elevators are located in the following buildings: H-100, Bldg. 1730, CCAD Bdlg. 8, Bldg. 1880, Bldg. 131, Hangar 50, Bldg. 1, and Bldg. 10. The elevator types vary between electric and hydraulic. Elevator services are for both freight and passenger. General scope of work is as follows: The contractor shall be responsible for managing the total work effort associated with the full maintenance and other services required, which includes responding to service calls, emergency calls and performing preventive maintenance and inspection every week on the elevators and dumbwaiter. Contractor shall also perform inspection and maintenance on electronic circuitry, such as printed circuit boards and components, all fuses, terminals and connections. Work includes maintenance and repair on electrical and hydraulic and mechanical systems on elevators. Contract period is for one year base period with an option to extend yearly for a not to exceed amount of 60 months. The Government reserves the right to award the base period for a shorter period of time. This contract will be set aside for Small Business. sh (0194)
