Z -- RENOVATION OF PLAYGROUND ON BASE AT YOUTH CENTER Sol F4561396Q1231 due 080996 Contact A1C Rob Roberts, Purchasing Agent, 509/247-2071, Contracting Officer, Laurie Whelan, 509/247-3859 This is a solicitation to renovate the Playground on Base at the Youth Center. The renovation includes: providing 821 each Softile rubber surfacing, 2'' thick, Terra Cota and 120 each Softile rubber surfacing 3'' thick, Terra Cota color with adhesive and geotextile cloth. Rubber surface tiles are 24'' X 24''. All wood chips will be removed, along with four inches of top soil and replace with crush rock on areas other than the projected sand box area. Install rubber surfacing in this area. Three inch tiles in high risk area around playground equipment. Sand box area will have six inches of top soil removed and replaced with 10 inches of play sand. Install the following government provided equipment: Tufftimbers and stakes that divide the sand box area from the rest of the playground. Two Superscoops, spring platform and wooden water troughs. This project is going to be a 100% small business set-aside. Simplified acquisition procedures will be utilized. (190)
