Title, number of pages and language(s) of the notified document: Revision of Quality Labelling Standards for Worcester Sauces (5 pages, available in Japanese). 6. Description of content: (1) To delete item of acidity from the standards because the number of low acidity products has increased as consumers' taste changed. (2) To review other items of the standards. (3) The negative list of food additives to be prohibited will be changed to the positive list of those to be allowed. 7. Objective and rationale: Protection of consumer's interests. 8. Relevant documents: The basic law is the Law Concerning Standardization and Proper Labelling of Agricultural and Forest Products.
