The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Det Philadelphia intends to procure Application Software Support for the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Tool Inventory Management Application (TIMA) located at Portsmouth, Norfolk, Puget Sound, Pearl Harbor, and Long Beach Naval Shipyards. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on an other than full and open competitive basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 with Data Enterprises of the Northwest (DEN) of Bellevue, WA. DEN as the software developer is the only source capable of providing the require software support. All responsible sources may submit concise documentation as to their ability to provide the required software support, as well as financial and technical information which shall be considered by the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center. If no affirmative written responses advantageous to the Navy are received within fifteen (15) calendar days after publication of this notice, a request for quotation will be issued to DEN. Note, no contract award will be made on the basis of information received to this notice. Further, the Navy will not pay for any information provided.
