The St. Louis Housing Authority seeks a Resident Employment Consultant. The Authority is a federally funded agency administering public housing for the City of St. Louis. Section 3 is a 1968 regulation promulgated by the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) that fosters local economic development, neighborhood economic improvement and individual self-sufficiency. The Authority is desirous of hiring a consultant who will assist in the further development and implementation of a Section 3 program. The program will provide opportunities for public housing residents in the areas of training, job placement, and business development. Offerors must submit their proposals in accordance with the SLHA solicitation documents which may be obtained from the above address, shall be clearly marked ``Proposals'' and show the project name and number, name of offeror and the date and time qualifications are due on the cover of the envelope. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to accomplish this work by any means determined to be in the best interest of the Authority.
