Y -- REPLACE RAISED FLOOR CARPET PANELS AT THE HONOLULU CERAP SOL DFA08-96-R-03722 POC Matt Smilak, Contracting Officer, 310/725-7552 The Federal Aviation Administration Western-Pacific Region is seeking potential sources to replace approximately 4000 square feet of the existing raised floor panels and approximately 150 square feet of carpeting at the Honolulu CERAP located in Honolulu, Hawaii. Work includes, but is not limited to: removal and installation of raised floor panels, removal and installation of carpet panels, and cleaning of grid structures. The period of performance will be 21 calendar days and the estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The Standard Industrial Classification for this procurement is 1799. The FAA is seeking potential sources who have demonstrated successful past performance with contracts of similar size and nature and possess the necessary business/technical, bonding, and financial capability to successfully compete a contract of this nature. Potential sources will be evaluated and qualified based on the following factors listed in descending order of importance: past performance, business/technical capability, bonding capability, and financial capability. The FAA will be soliciting offers for this project only from known qualified sources. This notice BELOW is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to 1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Programs (STLP), at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximun line of credit is $500,000.
