The Standard Industrial Code (SIC), for this project is 1542 - General Contractors - Non-residential Building, Other Than Industrial Building and Warehouses. The size standard is $17.0 Million. The work includes the replacement of windows, doors, hot and cold water lines, heating and cooling system interior repairs and electrical utility repairs and incidental related work. A temporary modular office trailer will be required for the phased construction (0001A Additive Item). The projected date of availability of the solicitation is 30 July 1996. The projected bid opening date is 29 August 1996. Contractors within the local area are encouraged to pick up a copy of the plans and specs at the office of the Officer in Charge of Construction, Building 2004, Room 253, Quantico, Virginia.
