The work includes selective demolition of the coal handling equipment and structures both in the interior and immediate exterior of the Central Heating Plant (Building 2012) and incidental related work. The work also includes placing fill dirt in the existing south coal pit and the construction of minor drainage items. In addition, Option 1 work shall include replacement of the Central Heating Plant windows and associated work. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this project is 1629. The size standard is $17M. Requests for plans/specs must be made in writing accompanied with a check in the amount of $40.00 made payable to the order of US Treasury c/o EFA Chesapeake, mailed or hand delivered to the above address. Please note the plans/specs will be issued on a first-come, first-serve, basis until supplies are exhausted. Contractors within the local area are encouraged to pick-up a copy of the solicitation at Building 212, First Floor, Plans and Specs Office at the Washington Navy Yard.
