Z -- REPLACE CONCRETE/BRICK PATIO AND REPAIR ROAD AT JOHN MUIR NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE IN MARTINEZ, CA SOL 1443-IB-8530-96-007. Due 082396. POC Kris Swofford, Contracting Officer, (415) 663-8522, Ext 230. Furnish all labor, materials and equipment to perform Visitor Center and Fire Road improvements at John Muir National Historic Site. The work consists of the following: Removing designated portions of asphalt, base and subgrade and constructing a concrete and brick patio adjacent to the Visitor Center/Headquarters Building area; installing CMP culvert pipes, complete with end sections and riprap outlet aprons on the Mt Wanda Fire Road; removal of two exiting culvert pipes and constructing a concrete low water crossing on segment no. 2 of the Mt Wanda Fire Road; Construct earthen drainage dips and regrade portions of Mt Wanda Fire Road Surface. Project completion is required within 60 days after Notice to Proceed. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The bid opening date is approximate and will be 30 days after issuance of the formal Invitation for Bid. Drawings and Specifications will be available on or about July 22, 1996 at a non-refundable charge of $10 per set.
