The work includes the removal of the floor sweeping system, cross conveyor system, hydraulic pumping unit and all of the hydraulic piping associated with the grit recovery system for Blast Booth No. 1. These systems will be replaced with a hydraulically powered screw conveyor system with screw conveyors, troughs, motors, supports and associated electrical and control appurtenances, and incidental related work. Estimated Cost Range: $250,000 and $500,000. Specifications will be available on or about 29 July 1996. A limited number of bid packages will be available and issued on a first come, first served basis until the supply is exhausted. There is no charge for the plans and specs (only one set per firm); HOWEVER, EACH FIRM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING A BID DATA. LOCAL FIRMS MAY PICK UP PACKAGES AT THE ISSUING OFFICE.
