D -- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR ACQUISITION OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICES IN SUPPORT OF MILITARY EXERCISES IN THE PACIFIC POC Pamela Torres, (808) 477-2572, Ext. 236 or Alex Lau, (808) 477-2572, Ext. 234 The proposed contract will provide telecommunications engineering support for military computer simulation exercises to be conducted in the Pacific region including sites located in Korea, Japan and CONUS. While the Government may acquire some leased and purchased network equipment, the contract will primarily provide technical labor hours required to plan exercises, and to operate and maintain exercise telecommunications networks. The Government intends to conduct a presolicitation conference on August 6, 1996, and to issue a formal solicitation approximately one month after the conference. As a minimum, a draft statement of work and sample CLINs from Schedule B will be available to interested vendors not later than July 22, 1996, to allow vendors time to review the documents prior to the conference.
