four Motor Pool buildings, 4,800 to 5,400 sq. ft., each. System will be
dry pipe, with water supply as available from existing underground
service. Install a fire protection system in two Motor Pool buildings,
4,800 and 5,400 sq. ft. each. System will be dry pipe, with a single
supplemental electric fire pump serving both buildings. Install a fire
protection system in an aircraft hangar, 40,000 sq. st. System will be
wet pipe, with water supply as available from existing underground
service. Install a fire protection system in two aircraft hangars,
45,000 sq. ft. each. Systems will be wet pipe AFFF foam in hangar and
Conventional wet pipe in office and support areas, with supplemental
diesel fire pumps (2). Estimated Cost Range: $1,000,000 to $5,000,000.
Bid sets available at $22.00 for half-size and $32.00 for full-size.
No individual sheets of half-size drawings may be purchased. Requests

Worth, Texas 76102-0300. NO EXPRESS MAIL PROCEDURES WILL BE UTILIZED ON
INITIAL MAILINGS OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. Requests in person may be
paid be cash. No refund will be made and materials need not be
returned. If project is canceled or no award is made, cost of plans and
specifications will be refunded only upon written request. Solicitation
to be issued on or about 6 Aug 96. Bid opening on or about 5 Sep 96.
Duration of contract 200 days. If a large business firm is selected for
this announcement, it must comply with FAR 52.219-9 clause regarding
the requirement for a subcontracting plan. The Fort Worth District's
goal for the dollars to be subcontracted is for 52.5% to go to Small
Businesses, of the 52.5% goal, 8.8% should go to Small Disadvantaged
Business, and 3.0% to Women Owned Small Business. Bids from all
