Keeling (757) 322-4463 The work includes demolishing Buildings LAG-11, LAG-11A, LAG-35, LAG-38, LAG-39, and LAG-42 and LAG-33, concrete wall and concrete apron. The work also includes demolishing Cooling Tower LP-177 and Test Cell LP-78, R-51, U-102, LF-51 and LF-52. The types of buildings that can be expected to be demolished include reinforced concrete buildings, concrete masonry unit buildings with steel and timber framed roofs, concrete masonry unit buildings with reinforced concrete roofs, steel framed buildings with metal skins, steel framed buildings with reinforced concrete roofs, and timber framed buildings with timber and steel framed roofs. Includes removal of demolition debris from government property along with removal and disposal of asbestos and lead and any other hazardous material and restoration building sites. The restoration of the building sites that can be provided include grading and seeding and incidental related work. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 05 August 1996. A limited number of bid packages will be available and issued on a first come, first serve basis. A check or money order for $25.00 payable to the Treasury of the United States is required as a non-refundable charge for each set of bidding data. Written requests must be received in the office of the Officer in Charge of Construction no less than five (5) working days prior to bid opening if you want the bidding data mailed. If your check is received less than five (5) working days prior to bid opening, we will attempt to contact you and afford you the opportunity to pick up a bid package.
