Bid Option 1: All work related to the replacement of air conditioning units, make-up air units, heating and ventilating units, ductwork, and related work on the north side lean-to and office areas. Performance period for Base Bid shall be 240 calendar days. Performance period for Bid Option 1 shall be as follows: a) If awarded within 60 days of the base contract award date, the contract completion date shall remain unchanged, on site work specified as Option 1 will be performed during the months of March, April and May only. b) If awarded 61 days or more from the base contract award date, the contract completion date will be extended by 180 calendar days on site work specified as Option 1 will be performed during the months of September, October and November only. The contract includes the clause titled ''Evaluation of Options'' (FAR 52.217-5) Except when determined in accordance with FAR 17.206(b) not to be in the Government's best interest, the Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirements.
