Carter, 907/753-2551 Description of work to be performed: Work includes demolition of buildings 21-116, 24-820, and 24-825, salvage of identified items and materials, removal of resulting rubbish and debris, and earthwork and revegetation. Building 21-116 (approximate square footage is 5500 sq ft for all three floors), has nonfriable asbestos containing siding on the exterior and a reinforced concrete foundation with a wood frame construction. Buildings 24-820 (approximate square footage is 7700 sq ft or all three floors), and 24-825 (approximate square footage is 7700 sq ft for all three floors), have reinforced concrete foundation walls and concrete masonry units with reinforced concrete walls. All three buildings have asbestos containing material which needs to be removed as well as some utilities. Responders are advised that the requirements may be delayed, cancelled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation, and/or final award process based on decisions related to DOD changes and disposition of the Armed Services.
