Z -- INFECTIOUS CONTROL, HVAC, BLDG. 7 SOL IFB 620-14-96 DUE 091796 POC Clarissa Harley, 914-737-4400, ext 2188 Furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision necessary for project No. 620-96-102 to completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, to construct two (2) new infectious disease isolation rooms with an intermediate anteroom, upgrading the ventilation systems of three (3) existing isolation rooms, relocating one (1) medications room and installing a new HEPA filtered HVAC system which shall comply with JACHO and CDC guidelines. Selective asbestos removal (transite) will also be required. All work shall be in accordance with specifications and drawings. Estimated cost range is between $250,000. and $500,000. A limited number of bid packages will be available on or about 8/13/96 and will be issued on a first come first serve basis until supply is exhausted. No fee for plans and specs. Request for bid packages must be in writing on company letterhead, addressed to the Contracting Officer, address above. No telephone or fax requests will be honored. Mandatory contract completion time is 270 calendar days. BOD is 9/17/96 at 2:30 P.M. local time, and all bidders are urged to and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed.
