Z -- WEST DAVISVILLE SEWER EXTENSION AT QUONSET POINT/DAVISVILLE INDUSTRIAL PARK, NORTH KINGSTON, RHODE ISLAND SOL DACW33-96-B-0030 DUE 090496 POC Jerry Nunziato, 617-647-8424 The work of this project consists of extending the sewer system at the Quonset Point/Davisville Industrial Park. Major items of work include providing 3,000 LF of 10-inch diameter, 1,260 LF of 12-inch diameter, and 1,200 LF of 24-inch diameter polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sewer pipe, and providing 120 manholes, various wyes, branches, and other appurtenances. Other work includes abandoning existing sewer by plugging manholes and removing frames and covers, replacing pavement, and jacking under a railroad in two locations. During the construction of this project, there will be no interruption in the flow of sewage from the existing system. Estimated cost of the work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Work shall be completed within 180 calendar days. Plans and specifications available on or about 080596 at a cost of $22.00 per set. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the New England Division. (0198)
