Description of project: The work to be performed will include all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary and required to remove and the placement of lead contaminated soil located at the pistol range backstop to the M-60 backstop, and the movement of the pistol range backstop to allow sufficient clearance behind the furthest target located at the firing range on Malmstrom AFB, MT. The performance period is 45 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Invitation for Bid will be issued on or about 31 Jul 1996. Bid opening will be on or about 31 Aug 1996. The acquisition is open competition for large and small business in accordance with the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. Only written request for the solicitation will be considered. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Standard Industrial Code is 1794. (198)
