Gill, Contracting Officer, (919)335-6141 The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking qualified sources to provide fuel cells to replace fuel cells (P/Ns 366A55-1001-03, 366A55-1002-03, 366A55-1003-03, 366A55-1004-03, 366A55-1005-03) that are currently utilized on the HH-65A helicopter fleet of 95 aircraft. The HH-65A aircraft is a military version of the AS365 N1 Eurocopter Dauphin helicopter. An alternate fuel cell is being sought that will be more reliable and less costly to procure/ repair. Interested sources are requested to submit information outlining their: (1) Experience designing and manufacturing crashworthy fuel cells used on rotary or fixed-wing aircraft; (2) In-house design and manufacturing capability; and (3) Experience and successful management of the FAA and/or DoD certification process.
