Specialist The Navy has a requirement for a minimum of 5 each and a
maximum of 50 eachrefurbished mobile maintenance vans. Tasks to be
performed by vendor include, (1) paintremoval using plastic media
blasting, (2) surface preparation including sealing all exposed
exteriorbolt rivet, nut and fraying surfaces prior to application of
coating, and (3) paint systemapplication. Vendor will be required to
utilize Mil-spec process and material requirements. Eachmobile
maintenance van weighs approximately 10,000 lbs. Approximate dimensions
are: Width-8ft, height-8ft, depth-20ft. Weight and size pose unique
facility and handling constraints. Deliveryrequirements will be a
minimum of 2 ea per week and a maximum of 4 ea per week after vans
aredelivered to the contractor's plant. It is anticipated that a firm
fixed priced IDIQ contract will beutilized. Preliminary inspection will
be at the contractor's plant with final inspection andacceptance at
NSWC Crane. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be
