70 -- NOVELL MASTER LICENSE AGREEMENT POC Karen Gantt, 202/512-2709 The U.S. General Accounting Office intends to procure on a sole source basis maintenance for its installed base of Novell Netware and upgrades and maintenance from installed base of Netware and Novell WorkGroup products under the framework of a (5) year Novell Master License Agreement with Novell, Inc., 2323 Horsepen Road, Suite 600, Herndon, VA 22071. At issue is the following installed base, which requires continuing maintenance: NW4.x-existing nodes, 2,331; NW4.1 - Upgrade from 3.x Nodes, 1,569; LanWorkgroup 4.2, 1,600 nodes. Upgrades to be acquired include major upgrades to Netware, 3,500 nodes; LanWorkgroup, additional 1,900 nodes plus any major upgrade; and related Novell products, such as CDs and other NW modules 3,500. This requirement is being met on a sole source basis to ensure reliability, access to beta versions of Novell products, and compatibility with GAO's existing Novell Netware environment. See Note 22.
