R-Architect/Engineer Services, Indefinite Quantity for Geographic
Information System Services at the Naval Air Station, Brunswick, Maine.
b. Projects may include but are not limited to the following: Project
No. 1 - Database development, entry and graphic linkage,
Photogrammetry, Mapping including soils, wetlands, habitat, vegetation
cover, physical features, contours. All work will be compatible with
the current microstation/MGEPC based GIS at NASB installed on a PC Lan.
This solicitation is for one Base Year and one Option Year. Subject to
necessary changes, the total annual A/E Fee that may be paid under
this contract will not exceed $200,000. Selection criteria: (1)
Specialized experience in the type of work required; (2) Prior
experience with Microstation GIS software; (3) Professional
qualifications of the staff to be assigned to this project; (3)
Professional capacity of the firm to accomplish the work in the time
required; (4) Location of the firm in the geographic area; (5) Past
experience with respect to DOD Contracts; (6) Cost control
effectiveness. c. A/E Firms which meet the requirements described in
this announcement are invited to submit completed standard forms 254
(unless already on file) and 255, U.S. Government Architect-Engineer
Qualifications to the Resident Officer in Charge of Construction, Naval
Air Station, 200 Alpha Avenue, Brunswick, Maine 04011. Firms responding
to this announcement with the submittal of an SF 255 by 7 August 1996
will be considered. Respondents may supplement this proposal with
graphic material and photographs which best demonstrate design
capabilities of the team proposed for the project. See Note 24. This is
