D -- MAINTENANCE OF STORAGETEK COMPUTER EQUIPMENT SOL JF97STK DUE 090396 POC Contact Jeff Foster, 615-454-5110 StorageTek Hardware Maintenance - Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC) is soliciting sources that can provide maintenance of two Powderhorn Automated Cartridge Systems (ACS), one classified and one unclassified, from Storage Technology Corporation (STK), each with 6,000 tape cartridge capacity. Each ACS has four Timberline tape cartridge subsystems and two Redwood tape cartridge systems. Data is managed by Unitree HSM software from two Convex C4640 computers, one for each ACS. Unitree software license allows 50 terabytes capacity in each system. Each ACS supports 350 tape exchanges per hour. One 4780-M30 36 track controller and a 4490-M32 36 track transport with two automatic loaders. (0199)
