Concerns having the ability for providing a residential community corrections center facility for male and female Federal offenders and mothers and infant services in the Springfield, Illinois area. Those interested are requested to give written notification (including telephone number, and a point of contact) to the contracting office listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, to include subsistence and medical services, except the expenses of hospital, surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work entitled, Community Corrections Center services, dated December 1992, and Mothers with Infants, dated February 1993. Location of the facility shall be in the Springfield, Illinois area. The estimated number of mandays for line item one (male and female) is 13,505 for the base period, 2,190 mandays for each option period (one thru three) if exercised by the government. Line item two (mint program) estimated number of mandays is 1,460 for the base period, and 730 mandays for each option period (one thru three) if exercised by the government. The estimated RFP issue date is September 17,1996 and the estimated closing date is October 30, 1996. The contrct base period is for two years with three-one year options to renew.
