J -- TYPEWRITER MAINTENANCE SOL DAKF48-96-Q-0438 DUE 081596 POC Contract Specialist Neta Woodward (817) 287-5115 (Site Code DAKF48) The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Hood, Texas, is acquiring typewriter maintenance services for various makes and models of typewriter equipment in Government inventory. The Government is anticipating issuing a requirements contract for one base year and two option years, beginning 1 August 1996. This is a 100% small business set aside. The standard industrial code for this acquisition is 7699; the business size standard is $5.0 million. All work is structured to be provided by service call with an estimated 600 service calls during the base year. The Contracting Officer's representative will prepare service call tickets for the contractor to pickup when required. All service is to be performed on- site unless it is determined that damage or repair is required due to other than normal wear and tear to the equipment. For this reason, the contractor's facility must be located in the general vicinity of Fort Hood. Requests for solicitation bid packages must be made in writing and the request must include, as a minimum: the company name, address, telephone number, facsimile number, solicitation number, and name of person requesting the bid package. Requests must indicate that the company is not currently on the List of Parties Excluded from Federal Procurement or Nonprocurement Programs.
