N -- REPLACING PNEUMATIC CONTROLS AND UPGRADING DDC Sol F16602-96-Q1039, Due 072996, Contact, Bennett Smith, 318/456-6960/Contracting Officer, Betty Stalder, 318/456-6890. Synopsis Number A-32 Work shall consist of replacing the pneumatic controls and upgrading to DDC at the Integrated Missile Facility, Barksdale AFB, LA. Retrofitting the pneumatic controls with DDC shall provide remote monitoring and modification for all building temperatures, humidities, pressures and equipment on/off. Alarms and status of all equipment shall be documented automatically at the EMCS computer and at the local terminal to be installed at the building. The DDC retrofit shall include new electronic thermostat6 sensors for space temperature and humidity control plus new duct sensors for outside air, return air, mixed air and supply air temperatures. New electric to pressure transducers shall be used to control the values and actuators. The areas requiring pressure controls shall receive new electronic pressure transmitters and electronic to pressure transducers. DDC controls shall be connected as an extension to the existing Metasys DDC controls already installed in the building that presently handle the SATAF building pump house HVAC gear and air dryers. The existing NCV could also handle expansion to include the 6 AHU's and pressurization alarm controls. Interested parties should submit a request for bid package by facsimile to (318) 456-2107.
