The proposed procurement is for Contractor support to the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) with providing training and technical assistance to Federal, state, local agencies, tribal, and other public and private non-profit organizations involved in activites related to crime victims. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to: Task 1, Maintain an Automated Database of Consultants; Task 2, Design, Perform, and Evaluate Technical Assistance Projects (tailored to the specific needs of programs and agencies dealing with crime victims); Task 3, Provide Training and Technical Assistance to Native American Children's Justice Act Grantees; Task 4, Provide Training and Technical Assistance to New and Operational Victim Assistance in Indian Country Programs; Task 5, Provide Training and Technical Assitance Under Emergency Conditions - Community Crisis Repsonse (CCR) Team; Task 6, Provide Conference and Meeting Support; Task 7, Adapting Materials Developed as a Result of OVC Discretionary Programs; and Task 8, Adapting OVC Training and Technical Assistance Materials to the Needs of Victim Services Providers. The proposed procurement will comprise one 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods, beginning on or about January 1, 1997.
