R -- ENGINEERING, TECHNICAL, AND LOGISTICS SUPPORT SERVICES SOL N63394-96-R-2106 N63394-96-R-2106 DUE 091096 POC Contract Specialist, CAROL ENGLISH, (805) 982-0597, PCO, ROBERT BOYD, (805) 982-0610 The Acquisition Department of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division, CA, intends to award an Indefinite Delivery Type Contract (IDTC) for engineering, technical, and logistics services to support in-service agency responsibilities of the Surface Combatant Department for AEGIS Combat Systems, New Threat Upgrade (NTU), MK92 Fire Control Weapon Systems and MK74 Missile Fire Control Systems. A few of these requirements include: Assessment of combat system limitation/capabilities, trade-off studies and analysis for proposed improvements to ship systems, development/maintenance of planning documents/databases and schedules, analysis/design of combat/weapon system interfaces, engineering design analyses and studies, computer program maintenance, validation and verification, configuration management and system integration, and configuration integrated logistics support. Award will be to a single contractor based on full and open competition, for a base period of 7 months, 1 Mar 97 thru 30 Sep 97, plus four option years. The estimated labor hours is 203,355 for the base year, 359,810 for option year one, 395,791 for option year two, 435,370 for option year three, and 478,907 for option year four.
