Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (DOL/ETA)
is soliciting proposals to select a contractor to provide assistance to
ETA in support of former students who have returned after participation
in the Job Corps program, to their respective communities and serve as
a source of information about Job Corps for recruiting purposes
through operation of the toll-free Job Corps information number. The
period of performance for the prospective award will be twelve (12)
months, from contract execution, plus four 1-year options at the
discretion of the Government. This requirement is being let under full
and open competition. Request for proposals will be available upon
written request only, approximately 15 days from the date of
publication, on a first come, first-served basis, until the supply is
exhausted. Telephone requests will be not be honored. For requests made
after the supply is exhausted, The Contracting Officer may determine
whether payment of a fee is warranted. The fee will not exceed the
actual cost of duplication of the solicitation documents. Closing date
for receipt of proposals will be September 13, 1996, at 2:00 p.m.,
local time. Requests must cite RFP-DAA-96-54, and must include two self
addressed labels. Failure to enclose labels may cause delay in receipt
