703/275-5647. The Image Access Services Specification (IASS) contains
the first set of interface specifications developed by the Central
Imagery Office sponsored Common Imagery Interoperability Working Group
(CIIWG). The IASS defines interfaces for imagery access, catalog
access, image dissemination, and user profile & notification
facilities. An ``Image Access Services Programmer's Tutorial'' will be
conducted 26 July 1996 at the Mitre Corporation, Hayes Building, 7525
Colshire Drive, McLean, VA 22102. This tutorial is to explain the IAS
specification and Common Imagery Interoperability Profile (CIIP) to
programmers who are intending to implement the specifications.
Attendees are expected to have active C or C++ development experience.
