(703) 693-5017 The Defense Supply Service-Washington on behalf of the
United States Army Community and Family Support Center anticipates
awarding a noncompetitive contract to the Council for Early Childhood
Professional Recognition for a continuing requirement for implementing
the Child Development Associate (CDA) training and credentialling
program for Army Child Development Services (CDS) programs. The period
of performance shall be a base year with four option years. The
following tasks shall be performed: (1) Training 60 Army Training and
Curriculum Specialists (TACS) in the implementation of CDA training and
credentialling programs as CDA advisors and representatives; (2)
Processing and administering assessments for Army CDA candidates; and
(3) Processing and administering the CDA competency-based Army
school-age credential. There is no solicitation document available for
competitive bidding. All requests for information must be in writing,
telephone requests will not be honored. However, Interested parties
may submit capability statements for satisifying this requirement. See
