The project consists of a 2,500 square foot addition to the existing Waynesboro Main Post Office including limited renovations to the basement and first floor. The one-story, brick addition will be constructed with a crawl space and new rooftop HVAC system. It will provide expansion of the existing workroom. Existing windows will be enlarged to provide doorways between the new and existing workroom space. Two toilet rooms, one locker room and stairs to the basement and to the outside will be provided at the first floor level. Minor renovations at the basement level include provisions of a lunchroom and men's locker room. Site work includes only that area effected by the building expansion. Estimated cost range is $250,000 to $330,000 with completion of work within 120 days. Proposals are due by 4:00 pm on Monday, August 26, 1996.
