This procurement is unrestricted. The work includes the construction of a one-story brick veneer building, complete with utility services and site work, ready and functional for occupancy. The building provides space for the base's Housing Offices and Self-Help Center. The Housing offices provide space for adminstrative, counseling and other functions. The Self-Help Center provides space for training and storage of materials. The estimated cost of construction is between $500,000. and $1,000,000. The projected date of availability of plans and specifications is 6 August 1996. The projected date for receipt of bids is 5 September 1996. Requests for plans and specifications must include a check/money order or cashier check in the amount of $40.00 may payable to Treasurer of the United States. This charge is nonrefundable. Plans and Specifications may be picked up at the location indicated above or may be requested by mail, and will be issued on a ''first come, first served'' basis until all supplies are exhausted.
